Know and Show Solutions is a Speech Language Therapy business that specializes in executive functioning. It is my passion to help you and your child build and expand their executive functioning skills so that they can excel in life! I have over 15 years of experience and excel at providing outstanding service to children both privately and in the schools. Multiple studies report that a child's core Executive Functioning skills and self-regulation at the end of kindergarten are a stronger predictor of school success than IQ or socio-economic standing!
TIP OF THE WEEK: Analyze the toys your child has! Does it plug in? Use batteries? Have a microchip? If so – then the toy is in charge – it is the brain power. You want child in charge of the toy – no the toy in charge of the child! Is the toy calming you – or are you using something to calm yourself?
Meet the SLP
My name is Stephanie, and I am a Speech Language Pathologist and Executive Functions Consultant. I currently have over 15 years of experience, hold a national certification, and am currently licensed in the state of North Carolina. I received my Bachelors of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from University of Florida in 2003. I received my Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from East Carolina University in 2007.
Throughout my career, I have developed a solid foundation in helping children reach their fullest potential in all areas of school and life. Children learn better when they understand the why. And the biggest why they want to know is why they can or cannot do things. By starting with the basics and moving slowly and consistently, all children can show what they know!

Our One-on-one Speech Language Therapy sessions provide children with personalized instruction to help them learn the basic skills that are involved with executive functioning. Executive Dysfunction is not about what you know but about how you show it. Our goal is to ensure that every child has the ability to demonstrate their skills in every aspect of their daily lives.
Family Coaching
Family Coaching is a service offered by Know and Show Solutions that helps families decrease the frustrations in their home, both for parents and children. This family-based service provides parents and children with knowledge about executive functioning, with skills and strategies to improve it, and an overall happier home atmosphere.
